What is Therapy?

Starting therapy can feel like a lot of things. It can feel scary or overwhelming. It can feel like failing or feel weak.

It doesn't have to

It can also feel empowering and healing.

Our sessions can be anything you want them to be. I've learned that there is no "one-size-fits-all" process. Together we can figure out what fits you.

Signs You Might Need Help

Emotions can be powerful and overwhelming.

Dysfunction is often rooted in stress, past experiences, or unresolved pain. For many, high levels of emotion can impact relationships, work, and overall well-being if left unmanaged. Seeking help with anger management provides a safe space to understand the causes of anger, learn how to communicate feelings more effectively, and develop tools to respond calmly. By working with a counselor, individuals can transform their reactions and foster healthier connections with themselves and others.

Overthinking

Constantly worrying about things that haven't happened yet. Constantly replaying events. Focusing on the worst possible case scenario. Obsessing over perfectionism.

Relationship Instability

Constant flux or instability in your personal relationships. Frequent arguments, emotional irregularity, and a lack of trust.

Isolation

Physical, emotional, or social separation. Connecting with others feels impossible.

Sense of Dread

Feelings of worry, nervousness, and unease. Simple tasks seem impossible.

Loss of Interest

Things that once brought you joy seem empty and meaningless.

Frequent Outbursts

Sudden, intense displays of anger or frustration that occur repeatedly. These may be verbal, physical or both.
